Happy Mothers Day!

My mum was wrapped with her quilt and it's now on her bed. When I measured it, it is actually a king size, so it really is huge.
This week I will be attempting to make roman blinds for my daughters room - wish me luck - I have been putting it off for a while now.
I hope all you mothers out there had a good day!

I have 'heard' that roman blinds aren't too difficult - let me know! xx

The quilt is really beautiful! You will be fine with the roman blinds, let me know if you get stuck, I have some instructions somewhere from when I made one. K xxx

the quilt looks stunning! good luck with the blinds, I have been thinking lately about making curtains but apparently it is really tricky getting the hem right!

Wow - the quilt is divine. I also have roman blinds on my list, but I am more worried about the hanging than the sewing, which is kind of weird!!

Beautiful quilt Stacey and your pony is so cute! I bet your Mum was thrilled with her gift. Good luck with the blinds. I think after making those quilts you could make roman blinds in your sleep!
