A Very Fairy Crafty Party
A very fairy crafty party - done!
I'm shattered!
Firstly let me just say, I try not to put any photos of faces on my blog, but I couldn't resist this time because they just looked so beautiful! Ohh and look at my daughters skirt, isn't it beautiful, my first splurge at Trelise Cooper.
A quick run down on what I did for the party.
So each guest was greeted at the door with Fairy Serena (my beautiful and sweet niece) who gave them a fairy bag which was to be filled throughout the party.
As each guest arrived they were seated at the table and given colouring in pages I designed to matched the invites. Then we made wands with lots of ribbons and jewels.
Then Fairy Serena played a few games with the children where everyone got a pencil, lollies and some yo-yo hair clips I made (I like it when everyone leaves from the party with exactly the same).
Then a tea party with real china and crystal, and bite sized heart shaped food.
The cake was just really simple, with one of Little Miss B's fairies on top.
And as one last gift everyone was given a cookie wand as they left.
As far as decorations go we had lots of pink balloons. And our family tradition - a bunting. Every child has their own bunting (I still have to make one for Baby J's Birthday in three weeks), which we put up for their "Birthday Week" - one day just isn't enough!
I also quickly made up some pink organza curtains for the dining room window which made a great back drop.
So now I can put my feet up and have a cuppa - yeah right!

How beautiful! Bet she had a wonderful time. I love the cake, simple yet elegant!
Will you come and do my 50th in a couple of years ? Please send some of those heart shaped bicuits with the pink icing !
the decorations and colour scheme you used look so nice. I love the idea of each kid of having their own bunting. I was planning on having a birthday weekend this year but maybe I will have to extend it to a birthday week! :)

Hey... I am loving the party pics! Well done! I came across your blog via Gail's blogroll; think I'll have to visit again. While you're putting your feet up, come over and visit me www.greatfun4kids.blogspot.com
I'm In AkL too; currently procrastinating finishing my daughters Royal Bunting for her 5th Princess party this Saturday :)
I seem to have missed seeing your blog. Just caught up on a couple that sneeked in there! Looks like a lovely party. You went to so much effort! Hope B had a really fun day. She sure looked very pretty and that clip is too cute. Well done Stacey!!
Wow, how incredible was your party. You put so much time and effort into everything you made and did. And it shows. I have no doubt your daughter will always remember her party.I like your idea of a really simple cake! If that's simple what does complicated look like? My youngest daughter introduced the idea of a birthday week a few years ago but recently decided that there really should be a birthday week leading up to your birthday and one after. So watch out!
How amazingly fantastically gorgeous!! It is so nice when parties are thought out with such great detail - well done!! Ever thought of going into party plans??!! Love the photo's.
A lovely party!
My Polka Dot Swap has arrived - if you get a chance pop on over to check it out. Thank you for organizing it. I have enjoyed my first 'swap'.
Hi Stacey, fab party! I hope you have recovered! Just dropped by to say thanks for organising the polka dot swap. I have pics on my blog of what I recieved from my very lovely swap partner Mary Jane. Kate x
absolutely beautiful, you know how to throw a party with style. and your daughter makes for a beautiful fairy. well done!
That is just a little girl's dream, isn't it? What a wonderful party - I also like the personalised bunting idea. Our boys each have a special candle that Ben made to burn in church on the day of their dedication, and we try to light it on the anniversary each year - we're not very good at that, though, so the candles will probably last them to adulthood!
*squeeee* What a Fairy sweet party! Looks like a LOT of fun! :O)
Looks like the perfect pink party! love it!
So you are doing a great fun. I need that cakee....
Give it to me.

This has got to be the cutest party I have ever seen. The decorations, the crafts, the cute costumes. It makes me wish my 18 year old daughter was little again so I could have a cute party like this. Heck.... I wish I was little again so I could go to a party like this. LOL!! Everything is so pretty!!
What a gorgeous party! I love it! Thanks so much for sharing!
