Disco Fever

The cake went really well, and tasted delicious! The party was fantastic, with most people really going to town with their costumes. I had to share some of them with you.
Abba turned up and even sang a song written especially for my husbands parents.
The cool dude is my husbands cousin with his date for the night...oh to be young.
My husband with his dad, with his fingers the wrong way around!
This is my husbands aunt and uncle. He must have watched the movie about 10 times before the party, because he was doing a fabulous job at impersonating Austin Powers.
The booklet I designed with a song inside that was written to sing to them (it's a Dutch thing) modelled by a particularly groovy lady.Thank you for reading this whole post! So here is a treat for you (well I'm not sure it's a treat), my first photo of myself on my blog with my gorgeous hubby! My costume looks pretty boring, but let me assure you I had the coolest purple and orange flares on.

what a cool party! I love dress up parties. Everyone always gets more into the party spirit when costumes are involved. I had a Grease party for my 21st. It was heaps of fun.
