A mermaid costume! I had heaps of fun with this one. Any excuse to add another costume to the dress up box.
I love figuring out how to make stuff as I go along. However it did take me an awful long time to figure out how I would make a tail with the ruffles at the back and then nicely have them graduating to the front up into a V shape. You can kind of see what I am talking about in this photo.
Sorry the pictures aren't that great, I didn't realise it at the time but Little Miss B and the Birthday Girl seemed to be
inseparable, and their dresses have morphed into one in a lot of my photos.
