Aren't these tiny travelling houses just too cute! I found the tutorial for these matchbox makeovers here.

This is the garden...

Sshhh....don't wake the fairy up.

Here's marmite fingers modelling it for me.

That is just adorable. Great for a little one to take to a restaurant, on a plane or to church (depending on what your persuasions are!)

Wow, lovely work Stacey. Your stitching is so good! I like the way you did your flowers on the back of the house, too.

What a cute idea! Well done on selling your house!! Hope it's a late settlement with all that you have on. Bet you aren't looking forward to packing up. Just keep looking ahead and it won't seem so bad.

Aren't these sweet - my girls ADORE theirs! They named the little dolls inside after their cousins and they often come with us on adventures now.
Your stitched rather than glued version is lovely.

Stacey I love this and am really glad I found your blog. I am following you would love for you to stop by my blog and say hello sometimes. Is there any chance that you would make this for me (of course I would pay you) I am so not capable of doing this as neatly as you did. My daughter would ADORE this? Please??? pretty please???

Gorgeous, I used to love stashing tiny things in matchboxes when I was little, if only i'd made them into teeny houses.

Hi!! One last comment, I am going to be late again for work. Yesterday I found Patch Andi's blog and was enjoying browsing her blog that I was almost late for work.

I love the little felt house you made for the fairy. Thank you for posting the link. It is just sooo cute!!

hi, can you share what you used to cut the decorative edge thank you. I have tried several brands of new pinking sheers and they do not provide a nice clean cut to wool felt, thank you, cheers

ps love your little house! thanks for sharing
