I found this fantastic book,
Sewing Clothes Kids Love at the library, which inspired me to finally get out the sewing machine again. There's a sneak peek of what fabrics I have used behind the book.

I am making this skirt called
Insa. I am a little dubious at how it will turn out. I have tried to be
adventurous and not choose fabrics that are too safe.
Heaps more creativeness going on
here
Oh I love this book - I've seen it many times at the fabric shop, but never buy it as it all looks too hard - the clothes remind me of my absolute fave kids clothes oilily - don't you think? Do post pics if you make any of the girls clothes. Jane:)
ReplyDeleteI have this book but am yet to make anything out of it :-P I love the look of the insa skirt, and so many of the other projects in the book, just got to shake off the too-hard feeling and get stuck into it, I think! Yours is looking great!
ReplyDeleteIt's a terrific book - you must try the dortje pants!
