I've Got Something To Show You...

It's my first ever quilt - finished! I love it! For the backing I used polarfleece, because I wanted it to be really snuggly for my Baby J. I was a bit dubious about the fabrics as I was making it, but now that the borders and binding are on, I really love it.
The Stacked Coins Baby Quilt pattern was from Crazy Mom Quilts. Thank you so much Kate for talking me into using a pattern, rather than just making something up, I think you saved me from a disaster.

Have a good weekend ladies. I am going to be busy, busy, busy making stuff. Lots of things to share with you next week.

    omg finished already!

    My coin quilt (started at the begining on march) is still sitting on the ironing board waiting to be pressed so I can start quilting

    Well I wasn't expecting to see this finished this year. Wow you work fast. It is a fabulous looking piece. Well done you. I am still sitting here looking at the pretty pictures in quilting in no time. I will, I will, I will have a go. You have been an inspiration.

    How exciting your first quilt finished! I'm supposing you now have the quilt bug so you will already be planning your second and third quilt! Love the idea of fleece on the back to keep the little one snugly.
