The Christening Of The Quilt

We always christen a quilt before we give it away, it's as if we are putting our energy and love into it. I just managed to finish the binding off last night. I had to do it on the machine because I wasn't going to finish it on time. So it's as my husband says "better to be terribly finished, than fantastically unfinished."

Lovely quilt. I love the shades of green. That 'sagey' shade of green always makes me smile which is while it appears often through my house!

What a wonderful idea to Christen the quilt before you give it away. And what better way than with dollies and teasets and small children. Perfect!
Happy Mothers' Day.
