OMG - I'm Quilting!

That's what I was saying to myself as I was sewing along. I am just soooo excited! I am actually getting somewhere with my first ever quilt.
I haven't told you yet but, I enrolled in a local community course in patchwork/quilting, and it's fabulous! It's making me go through the steps that would usually scare me so much, that I would pack it away for another day - that never comes.
I just wanted to quickly share that with you. I better go and get dressed. I am off to New Zealand's biggest quilting show today "Calico Christmas". I am hoping to pick up some goodies.

Congrats Stacey! It's looking amazing. I'm still biting my nails looking at my fabric and wishing it would just spontaneously combust into a quilt. You've given me hope. Have fun at the show.

Beautiful choices of fabrics for your first quilt. Sew much fun!!! (HaHaHa- it's been a really long week at our house...) But your quilt really is going to be wonderful, I can't wait to see it when you are done. My mom and I were just talking about our first quilts tonight, they are very special.

So exciting! I have fabric for 2 quilts I want to make, but can't seem to get there. Think It's a mental block that I have that it's going to be difficult! Looking forward to seeing your progress. x
