A Historical Visit

In the weekend we went to our local historical village for their live day - so much fun! I have been waiting for an excuse to make my daughter a pioneers costume for ages and I made my two sons black ties.
I did promise to show you what I have been up to lately, but I have run out of time this week I am afraid. I still haven't found the cable for my little snap shot camera - so annoying! So I have had to start lugging around my big SLR.

Well, it's a hub of activity here, I've got my course tonight so I have been cutting fabric all day so I can sew it there. And we are going away for the weekend so I have been trying to tidy and pack for that - but you know what's more important right...

Okay you even made your sons ties! You ARE amazing...when I grow up I wanna be you! BEAUTIFUL pictures! I love doing things like that! Very beautiful kids!

I am up late & taking a short break from my table house. I just finished edging the windows & after I write this am headed back to start the curtians while the kids are sleeping. It would be fun if they could eat breakfast in it tomorrow but I don't think that is reality :) Too much more to do :)

I loved your post! Good night!

I love a bit of historical action! We had a whole family portrait done a few years ago but unfortunately it made me look about 100 years old so I can't look at it! We might have to go back for a reshoot now the kids are bigger and I'll make sure I don't wear a bonnet! xo

Looks like a lot of fun! I have very similar pictures of my kids when they were younger. They are some of my favorites to look back on. Way to go making your boys ties! Super Woman, you are!
