I am still working on clothing for all three kiddies. My dress went rather well, and Little Miss B seems happy to wear it to kindy (even though it's not pink).

I had a few problems with it, the front top panel is rather big and flimsy and the dress itself was too wide which I fixed with a pleat on either side.

So now I am working on a pink one with birds and hopefully correcting all my mistakes.

Great job even if it's not pink !
ReplyDeleteGorgeous and I love that blue (but we have the same problem with non pink items!)
ReplyDeleteLooks brilliant! (I don't sew clothes) I love the lacey bit at the bottom!
ReplyDeleteLove it, and awesome that she will wear it to school...can't wait to see more :)
ReplyDeleteLooks really lovely! I used to sew dresses for my two girls, it is a wonderful feeling seeing them wearing something you have made yourself isn't it?! Happy weekend to you! suzie xxx

I've got a little one who wears nothing but pink. Well done on making some progress with blue.
ReplyDeleteI love the details on the dress: the buttons, the pockets and that lace trim — too cute!
ReplyDeletePleats in the sides are no, the bluey is a thing of wonder! It'll look darling in winter months too, with cutesie number underneath...perhaps in yellow? I love it.
