Finally Some Craftiness

A mermaid costume! I had heaps of fun with this one. Any excuse to add another costume to the dress up box.
I love figuring out how to make stuff as I go along. However it did take me an awful long time to figure out how I would make a tail with the ruffles at the back and then nicely have them graduating to the front up into a V shape. You can kind of see what I am talking about in this photo.
Sorry the pictures aren't that great, I didn't realise it at the time but Little Miss B and the Birthday Girl seemed to be inseparable, and their dresses have morphed into one in a lot of my photos.See what I mean.

2010 is going to be a good one, I can just feel it!
I am still working on my resolutions for the year, been thinking about them for a while now.

We're enjoying the warmth of the sun here in NZ, it's been a while coming. Tomorrow we are off to the Bay of Islands with Baby J. The two older kids are with their grandparents at the beach house and we will join them there for the weekend. One is so much easier than three, and looking forward to giving Baby J our full attention for change. Hopefully I will be squeezing in some crafty business too!
